Change the name of a mobile device

Overview

The name of a mobile push notification device can be updated using the app or website.

Procedure

To change the name of a mobile device using the Alarm.com app

1. Log in to the Alarm.com app.
2. Tap [Menu].
3. Tap App Settings.
4. Tap Device Name.
5. Enter the desired name for the mobile device.

To change the name of a mobile device using the GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com)

1. Log in to the GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com).
2. Click Settings.
3. Click Manage Devices.

In Mobile Devices, click the desired mobile device.

1. Enter the desired name for the mobile device.
2. Click OK.
