A Thermostat Change Alert notification can notify users if the setpoint or mode is changed.
To create a thermostat change alert notification using the Alarm.com app:
- Log in to the Alarm.com app.
- Tap Menu.
- Tap Notifications.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Add.
- Tap to expand Use A Template.
- In Temperature, tap More.
- Tap Thermostat Alert.
- Enter the name of the new notification.
- In When any of these settings are changed, tap to select which changes to be notified about.
- In For the selected devices, tap to select the thermostats to be notified about.
- In Recipients, tap Add to add notification recipients.
- Tap to select the desired recipients from the Address Book, or add an unlisted recipient by tapping Add Contact.
- Tap Close.
- Verify the notification is configured with the correct settings.
- Tap Save.
To create a thermostat change alert notification using the GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com):
- Log in to the GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com).
- Click Notifications.
- Click New Notification.
- Click Temperature.
- Click Thermostat Alert.
- Enter the name of the new notification.
- In When any of these settings are changed, click to select which changes to be notified about.
- In For the selected devices, click to select the thermostats to be notified about.
- In Recipients, click Add to add notification recipients.
- Click to select the desired recipients from the Address Book, or add an unlisted recipient by clicking New.
- Click Close.
- Verify the notification is configured with the correct settings.
- Click Save.
