If a video device is having difficulty establishing communication with your browser, the video platform may request microphone access. Granting this request only provides the video platform with additional information about your internet connection to try to connect in a different way. Important: Alarm.com never listens to your microphone nor uses any of your microphone data on the GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com).
