Procedure

To enable or disable Thermostat Lock using the Alarm.com app

  1. Log in to the Alarm.com app.
  2. Tap Thermostats.
  3. Tap [Settings].

If there are multiple thermostats enrolled in your system, tap the name of the desired device.

  1. Tap Device Settings.

In Thermostat Lock, tap the current setting.

In the Thermostat Lock pop up, tap to select the desired setting

  1. Disabled mode indicates setpoint changes can be made from the thermostat, GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com) or Alarm.com app.
  2. Enabled mode indicates setpoint changes can only be made from the GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com) or Alarm.com app.

Partial indicates setpoint changes can be made from the thermostat, GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com) or Alarm.com app. Mode changes can only be made from the GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com) or Alarm.com app.

  1. Tap Apply.

  1. Log in to the GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com).

In the Thermostat card, click [Details].

  1. Click Advanced Configuration.

In Thermostat Lock, click to select the desired setting

  1. Disabled mode indicates setpoint changes can be made from the thermostat, GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com) or Alarm.com app.
  2. Enabled mode indicates setpoint changes can only be made from the GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com) or Alarm.com app.

  1. Click Save.
