Motion Detection 2.0 is an improved process that pairs enhanced motion detection technology with the existing passive infrared (PIR) technology used in Motion Detection 1.0.

When the Alarm.com Slim Line Doorbell Camera's firmware is updated from 3052 or lower to 3058 +, it is automatically configured based on its existing sensitivity setting. You can readjust the sensitivity and motion detection mode after the update is complete.
