Create/edit a door lock low battery notification

Overview

A Door Lock Low Battery Notification can notify users if a door lock reports a low battery.

Procedure

To create a door lock low battery notification using the Alarm.com app

1. Log in to the Alarm.com app.
2. Tap [Menu].
3. Tap Notifications.
4. Tap [Settings].
5. Tap [Add].
6. Tap System Event.
7. Enter the desired name for the new notification rule.

In Important, select A device has low battery.

In Recipients, tap Add to add notification recipients.

1. Tap to select your desired recipients from the Address Book, or add an unlisted recipient by tapping Add Contact.
2. Tap Close.
3. Verify the notification is configured with the correct settings.
4. Tap Save.

To create a door lock low battery notification using the GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com)

1. Log in to the GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com).
2. Click Notifications.
3. Click New Notification.
4. Click System Event.
5. Enter the desired name for the new notification rule.

In Important, select A device has low battery.

In Recipients, click Add to add notification recipients.

1. Click to select your desired recipients from the Address Book, or add an unlisted recipient by clicking New.
2. Click Close.
3. Verify the notification is configured with the correct settings.
4. Click Save.

To edit a door lock low battery notification using the Alarm.com app

1. Log in to the Alarm.com app.
2. Tap [Menu].
3. Tap Notifications.
4. Tap [Settings].
5. Tap the desired notification.

Make the desired changes.

1. Tap Save.

To edit a door lock low battery notification using the GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com)

1. Log in to the GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com).
2. Click Notifications.
3. Click [Edit] next to the desired notification.

Make the desired changes.

1. Click Save.
