Create/edit an Opened Unexpectedly notification

Overview
An Opened Unexpectedly notification can notify users if the system was disarmed after closing hours and before arrival hours.

Procedure
To create/edit an Opened Unexpectedly notification using the Alarm.com app
- Log in to the Alarm.com app.
- Tap [Menu].
- Tap Notifications.
- Tap [Settings].
To edit the notification, tap Opened Unexpectedly.
If the notification has not been created
- Tap [Add].
- Tap Use A Template.
In Business, tap Opened Unexpectedly.
Name the notification rule.
In When the selected events occur, select the events to receive notifications about.
To choose notification recipients, tap Add.
- Tap the entries in Address Book to be notified, or tap Add Contact to add a new Address Book entry.
- Tap Close.
- Verify the notification is configured with the correct settings.
- Tap Save.
To create/edit an Opened Unexpectedly notification using the GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com)
- Log in to the GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com).
- Click Notifications.
To edit the notification, click [Edit] for the Opened Unexpectedly notification.
If the notification has not been created
- Click New Notification.
- Click to select Business.
- Click Opened Unexpectedly.
Name the notification rule.
- Select Opened Unexpectedly.
To choose notification recipients, click Add.
- Click the entries in Address Book to be notified, or click New to add a new Address Book entry.
- Click Close.
- Verify the notification is configured with the correct settings.
- Click Save.
