Create a video callout notification

Overview

A video callout notification allows users to receive an alert to start a call when the camera call out button is pushed.

Procedure

To create a notification using the Alarm.com app

  1. Log in to the Alarm.com app.
  2. Tap [Menu].
  3. Tap Notifications.
  4. Tap [Settings].
  5. Tap [Add].
  6. Tap Video Callout.
  7. Enter the desired name for the notification.

In For the selected devices, tap to select the ADC-V622.

  1. Tap to select Button Pushed if it isn't checked.

Configure the time frame and notification filtering.

In Recipients, tap Add to select which contacts receive the notification.

  1. Tap to select the entries in the Address Book to be notified, then tap Close.

If a contact is not listed

  1. Tap Add Contact to add a new Address Book entry.
  2. Enter the new contact's information, then tap Add Contact.
  3. Verify the notification is configured with the desired settings.
  4. Tap Save. Allow a few minutes for the settings to save to the device, then test the notification.

To create a notification using the GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com)

  1. Log in to the GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com).
  2. Click Notifications.
  3. Click New Notification.
  4. Click Video Callout.
  5. Enter the desired name for the notification.

In For the selected devices, click to select the ADC-V622.

  1. Click to select Button Pushed if it isn't checked.
