Enable or disable remote commands for lights or switches

Overview

Remote commands for lights and switches are automatically enabled when enrolled, but can be disabled.

Procedure

To enable/disable remote commands using the Alarm.com app

1. Log in to the Alarm.com app.
2. Tap [Menu].
3. Tap Manage Devices.

In Lights and Switches, tap [More Options] for the desired device to manage.

1. Tap Device Settings.

In Settings, tap Remote Commands Enabled to toggle on or off.

1. Tap Save.

To enable/disable remote commands using the GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com)

1. Log in to the GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com).
2. Click Settings.
3. Click Manage Devices.

In Lights and Switches, click [More Options] for the desired device to manage.

1. Click Device Settings.

In Settings, click Remote Commands Enabled to toggle on or off.

1. Click Save.
