Procedure

Will the widget show clips captured without video analytics?

No. Currently, the Saved Clips Widget is only able to display clips captured using video analytics.

Does the saved clips widget work with linked logins?

Yes. The Saved Clips widget displays clips from the logged-in user's default system by default. However, when editing the widget, the user can pick camera views from all systems their login has been added to.

Can multiple Saved Clips widgets be added to my Home screen or Today View?

Yes. You can add multiple Saved Clips widgets with different configurations to customize your experience.

Can the saved clips widget be used with other Alarm.com widgets?

Yes. The Saved Clips widget can be used alongside the Safety Button Widget and System Control Widget to place all desired actions within easy reach.

For more information about the Safety Button widget, see Safety Button widget.

For more information about the System Control widget, see iOS Alarm.com System Control widget.

Why do I see blank thumbnails on the widget?

If you see a blank thumbnail on your widget, it is possible the clip that would have populated in that location has been manually deleted. As more clips are recorded, the blank thumbnail will eventually filter out.

Can the widget be used in conjunction with Face ID or Passcode lock for the Alarm.com app?

No. As this setting helps protect unwanted access to the app, these widgets are not configurable when Face ID or Passcode protection has been enabled.
