How can I have my panel disarm when I scan my Access Control keycard or enter my PIN?

Overview
An Access Control panel can be set up to disarm upon a single or double card swipe using the Alarm.com app and website. A single PIN entry can also be entered as a valid credential to disarm the panel. Important: The option to disarm the panel upon the successful card swipe or single PIN entry is only available to panels using an LTE or Dual-Path module.

Procedure
To add a rule to disarm a security panel upon card swipe using the Alarm.com app
- Log in to the app.
- Tap [Menu].
- Tap Automation.
- Tap [Add].
- Tap when to select the trigger device and action.
- Tap Door, then tap Next.
In Select Status, select either accessed, or Door Accessed with Double Swipe.
- Select accessed to require a single card swipe or single PIN entry to trigger the disarm.
- Select Door accessed with Double Swipe to require a double card swipe to trigger the disarm.
Note: Certain readers are capable of entering a PIN twice to trigger the disarm. For more information, contact your service provider.
In Select Security Level, use the dropdown menu to select the desired User Group that will be eligible to trigger the rule.
Note: For information about how to designate a user to a specific user group, see Can Access Control automation rules be configured to only work with specific users?.
- Tap Done.
- Tap then to select the trigger device and action.
In Select Feature, tap Security Panel, then tap Next.
In Select Action, tap Disarmed, then tap Done.
- Enter the desired name for the rule.
If desired, click Run at All Times to edit when the rule will run.
- Click to select At All Times __ for the rule will be carried out any time of day.
- Click to select Only during the following times to determine the specific days and times the rule will be carried out.
- Tap to select the days the rule will be active.
Using the Starting at dropdown menu, select the start time for this rule.
Using the Ending at dropdown menu, select the end time for this rule.
After selecting times for the rule to run, click Done.
- Verify the rule is configured with the correct settings.
- Click Save.

In Rules, click Add New Rule.

- Click Door, then click Next.
