Procedure

To change the device name on the Amazon Alexa app

Note: Updating a name within the Amazon Alexa app does not update the device name on Alarm.com.

1. Open the Amazon Alexa app.
2. Tap [Amazon Devices].
3. Tap the device you would like the rename.
4. Tap Edit Name.
5. Enter a new name.
6. Tap Return or Done on the keyboard or tap a different area of the screen to save the changes.
