Create/edit an Employee arming activity notification

Overview

An employee arming activity notification can notify users when and who is opening up for the day and closing down for the night.

Procedure

To create/edit an Employee arming activity notification using the Alarm.com app

  1. Log in to the Alarm.com app.
  2. Tap [Menu].
  3. Tap Notifications.
  4. Tap [Settings].

To edit the notification, tap to select the employee arming activity notification.

If the notification has not been created

  1. Tap [Add].
  2. Tap Use A Template.

In Business, tap More.

  1. Tap Employee arming activity.

Name the notification rule.

In When, select Any User or Keyfob or select Select Users and Keyfobs for specific users.

In Performs any of these system actions, select any of the following

Disarm notifies when the panel is disarmed.

Arm Stay notifies when the panel is set to Arm Stay.

Arm Away notifies when the panel is set to Arm Away.

In During this time frame, select one of the following

At All Times to allow notifications at all times.

Only During the Following Times to specify specific dates and times to allow notifications.

In Notification Filtering, select any desired filtering options

Do not send notifications that occur within a certain timeframe of the last notification.

Do not send notifications when any of the following Geo-Devices are inside the selected Geo-Fence.

To choose notification recipients, tap Add.

  1. Tap the entries in Address Book to be notified, or tap Add Contact to add a new Address Book entry.
  2. Tap Close.
  3. Verify the notification is configured with the correct settings.
  4. Tap Save.

To create/edit an Employee arming activity notification using the GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com):

  1. Log in to the GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com).
  2. Click Notifications.

To edit the notification, click [Edit] for the employee arming activity notification.

If the notification has not been created

  1. Click New Notification.
  2. Click to select Business.
  3. Click Employee arming activity.

Name the notification rule.

In When, select Any User or Keyfob or select Select Users and Keyfobs for specific users.

In During this time frame, select either of the following

At all times to allow notifications at all times.

Only during the following times to specific dates and times to allow notifications.

In Notification Filtering, select any desired filtering options
