# Turn off a video device's IR LEDs and night vision

## Overview
Video device infrared LEDs can be disabled remotely at any time.
## Procedure
### To turn off the video device's IR LEDs
### Note: If the video device does not have any IR LEDs, this option will not appear.
1. Log in to the GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com).
2. Click Video.
3. Click Settings.
4. Select the desired video device.
5. Click Video.
In Live Video Settings, click Image Settings.
In Advanced Image Settings, click the Infrared LEDs toggle switch to configure the setting as desired.
1. Click Save.
### To disable night vision
### Note: The ability to disable night vision is not supported for some cameras.
1. Log in to the GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com).
2. Click Video.
3. Click Settings.
4. Select the desired video device.
5. Click Video.
In Live Video Settings, click Image Settings.
In Advanced Image Settings, click the Night Vision toggle switch to configure the setting as desired.
