# Rename a video clip

## Overview
Video clips can be renamed to be more easily found or to describe the contents of the clip.
## Procedure
### To rename a video clip from the Alarm.com app
1. Log in to the Alarm.com app.
2. Tap \[Video\].
3. Tap Saved.
4. Tap \[Play\] on the desired clip.
5. Tap \[Edit\].
6. Enter the new name.
7. Tap Ok.
### To rename a video clip from the GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com)
1. Log in to the GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com).
2. Click Video.
3. Click Saved Video Clips.
Mouse over the desired clip, then click \[Options\], or click Bulk Actions followed by \[Video Checkbox\] to select all the videos shown on the page.
1. Click \[Edit\] Rename clip.
2. Enter the desired name in Clip Description.
3. Click Ok.
