Flip a camera's image

Overview

The image of a video device can be flipped in order to be compatible with a variety of mounting positions.

Procedure

To flip a camera's image

GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com)

1. Log in to the GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com).
2. Click Video.
3. Click Settings.
4. Select the desired video device.
5. Click Video.

In Live Video Settings, click Image Settings.

1. Click the Flip Image toggle switch to flip the image.
2. Click Save.

After a few minutes, have the customer view live video to verify the changes are applied.

Alarm.com app

1. Log in to the Alarm.com app.
2. Tap [Video].
3. Tap [Settings].

In Video Devices, tap to select the desired video device.

In Settings, tap Video.

1. Tap Image Settings.
2. Tap the Flip Image toggle switch to flip the image.
3. Tap Save.

After a few minutes, have the customer view live video to verify the changes are applied.
