## Overview

An Emergency Message only displays in the Alarm.com app during instances when there may be a severe weather event in your area.

An Emergency Message only displays in the Alarm.com app during instances when there may be a severe weather event in your area.

1. Log in to the Alarm.com app.
2. In *Emergency Event Message* in the Top Recommendations card, tap **Learn More**.
3. This opens the *Emergency Message* page. For further questions, contact your service provider at their provided phone number.

The following is an example of how an *Emergency Message* appears in the Top Recommendations card in the Alarm.com app:
