Top Recommendations is a Dashboard card on the Alarm.com app Home screen that brings important messages into one place. Top Recommendations provides a unified, top-of-mind place that highlights what is most important at the moment including things like appointment reminders, power outages, emergency event message, relevant product suggestion, and more all in one convenient location.
Requirements
- The Alarm.com Alarm.com app version 5.13.8+ for iOS or 5.10.7+ for Android
Features
- Establishes one prominent, easy-to-find location on the dashboard where all essential messages, alerts, and recommendations are centralized for maximum visibility and impact
- Ensures you receive the most important alerts, reminders, and opportunities at the right time
- Gives you a convenient place to:
- Check out relevant Upsell offers to expand and upgrade your system
- See time-sensitive alerts for appointment reminders, power outages, emergency events, and more
- Receive other important messages from their service provider such as messages prompting users who are enrolled in Mover or Builder programs
- Time-sensitive messages and recommendations are displayed in order of importance/priority
- Message types are tiered into priority levels - Emergency events, power outages, and appointment reminders take top priority, followed by Upsell offers and promotional content that appear after higher-priority messages have been dismissed
Access Top Recommendations
The Top Recommendations card can be accessed using the Alarm.com app and will appear when a related event has taken place.
To access Top Recommendations:
- Log in to the Alarm.com app.
- View the Top Recommendations card.
Note: The Top Recommendations card will only appear on the Alarm.com app Home screen when there is a key message, alert, or Upsell offer available. Otherwise, it will not display on the dashboard. - Swipe left and right when multiple recommendations are shown.
Note: Up to three recommendations can be displayed at once. - Tap Learn More for more information about the recommendation.
- Tap Dismiss to clear the recommendation from the dashboard.
