# Smart Home Skill - Disable Alarm.com in Amazon Alexa

## Overview

There are two ways to disable the Alarm.com Smart Home skill in the Amazon Alexa app.

## Procedure

### To disable the skill in Alarm.com Smart Home

1. Open the Amazon Alexa app.
2. Tap \[Alexa Icon\].
3. Tap Skills &amp; Games.

In the search field, enter Alarm.com, then tap Search.

1. Tap Alarm.com Smart Home.
2. Tap Disable Skill.
3. Tap Disable Skill again in the pop-up window.

The Alarm.com Smart Home skill is disabled and does not appear under the Your Smart Home Skills header.

### To disable the skill in Your Skills

1. Open the Amazon Alexa app.
2. Tap \[Alexa Icon\].
3. Tap Skills &amp; Games.

Flick to the bottom, then tap Your Skills.

In Your Skills, tap Alarm.com Smart Home.

1. Tap Disable Skill.
2. Tap Disable in the pop-up window. The Alarm.com Smart Home skill will be disabled and will no longer appear in your list of skills.

Note: Removing the skill from your Amazon Alexa account does not remove the devices listed under All Devices in the \[Amazon Devices\] section of the app. To remove the devices, see Remove equipment from Amazon Alexa.
