# Set/edit an energy usage goal

## Overview

Set energy usage goals for each monitoring device.

## Procedure

### To set an energy usage goal using the GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com)

1. Log in to the GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com).
2. Click Activity.
3. Click Energy Usage.
4. Click Goals.

### Using the Device dropdown menu, select a monitoring device.

In Projected Usage, drag \[Set Goal\] horizontally to lower or raise the goal budget.

1. Click Save.
