Create a No-Show Alert notification

This operational reference is organized for GoSafer Security customers and staff. Alarm.com product names are retained where required for technical accuracy.

Overview

A no-show alert notification can notify users if a given user code was not used to disarm the system within a specified time frame.

Procedure

To create a No-Show Alert notification using the Alarm.com app

1. Log in to the Alarm.com app.
2. Tap [Menu].
3. Tap Notifications.
4. Tap [Settings].

Create a new No-Show Alert notification or edit an existing one.

If the notification has not been created, tap [Add], tap to expand Create Your Own, then tap No-Show Alert.

To edit an existing notification, tap to select the No-Show Alert notification.

Name the new notification rule.

Using the If the system is NOT disarmed by dropdown menu, select a specific user.

In During this time frame, configure the days and times the user should disarm the system.

Note: If the system is already disarmed and the user doesn't need to disarm the system a No-Show Alert will still be sent.

To choose notification recipients, tap Add.

1. Tap the entries in the Address book that are to be notified, or tap Add Contact to add a new Address Book entry.
2. Tap Close.
3. Verify the notification is configured with the correct settings.
4. Tap Save.

To create a No-Show Alert notification using the GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com)

1. Log in to the GoSafer Security customer portal (powered by Alarm.com).
2. Click Notifications.

Create a new No-Show Alert notification or edit an existing one.

If the notification has not been created, click New Notification, then click to select No-Show Alert.

To edit an existing notification, click [Edit] for the No-Show Alert notification.

Name the new notification rule.
