Procedure
Linear
If you have a Linear Z-Wave garage door opener (GDO), then it is possible to control the GDO from the following security panel types:
2GIG GoControl 1 or 2
2GIG GC3
DSC Touch
Interlogix Simon XTi-5i
Qolsys IQ panels (all panel variants are compatible)
LiftMaster, Genie, and Overhead Door
If you have a LiftMaster MyQ Internet Gateway or MyQ Smart Garage Hub, then it is possible to control the garage door from the following security panels:
IQ Panel 2 on panel software version 2.4.0+
IQ Hub
IQ Panel 4
IQ4 Hub
IQ Panel 5 / IQ5 Hub
IQ panels using an IQ Remote keypad
Note: MyQ Gate Openers are not currently supported for viewing or controlling status on the Qolsys security panels.
