Arm and Disarm the System
GoSafer Security Customer Onboarding
Alarm.com features may vary based on your service package, installed equipment, permissions, and app version.
Arm the system
- Open the Alarm.com app and verify the correct property.
- Review any open sensor message before arming.
- Tap the security system card or arming control.
- Choose Stay or Away based on whether people will remain inside.
- Confirm the system begins its exit delay or shows the expected armed status.
Disarm the system
- Open the app or use an approved keypad method.
- Tap Disarm.
- Enter an authorized code if requested.
- Verify the status changes to Disarmed.
Never disarm the system for someone whose identity or authorization you cannot verify. If an alarm is active, follow the instructions from your monitoring provider and GoSafer Security.
